ABOUT MY PERSONALITY

My name is Flavio Battaini, born in 1996 and I live in the beautiful Zurich Oberland.

I have always been fascinated by music. I started playing electric guitar in my childhood. As a teenager I discovered a love for electronic music, so I began to passionately produce different genres as well as play with keyboards and synthesizers. I also discovered the instrument Hand Pan (Hang).

Initially I was particularly interested in areas such as production techniques, music theory, sound design, mixing and mastering. However, I soon became interested in everything related to sound technology and audio. In September 2021 I completed the Audio Engineering Diploma at SAE Zurich. Towards the end of the training it became clear to me that I wanted to specialize in the area of mastering.

So began another journey that continues to this day and will continue to do so until the end of my life. So I really started to absorb all the information I found on the internet, specialist books and online courses and educate myself further.

Of course, practical experience is just as important as acquiring in-depth specialist knowledge. So I spent endless time learning how to implement the know-how, apply software and hardware at a professional level to create excellent productions.

I constantly analyze the current market and pay attention to changes and trends in the different genres in order to always be up to date. An important part of being able to work seriously in the field of sound engineering is to always keep your hearing fit and train it. Of course, I also pay attention to this and train my hearing every day.
